How to Request Deletion
You can permanently delete your Shebak account and all associated personal data using either method below:
- In the app: open Profile → Settings → Manage Account → Delete Account, then confirm. This permanently removes your account and personal data.
- By email: send a request from your registered email address to [email protected] with “Delete Account” in the subject line. We use your registered email to verify the request.
What Gets Deleted
When your request is processed, we permanently delete:
- Your profile and account information (name, phone number, email).
- Your activity: posted ads, trip searches, and saved places.
- For drivers and advertisers: verification documents (national ID, driver's license, and vehicle registration images).
Ride/trip records are retained only in de-identified form (not linked to name, phone, email, or photos) for analytics and service improvement.
We never store your payment card details on our servers, so there is nothing to delete there.
Processing Time & Retention
We process verified deletion requests within 30 days. Certain records (for example, financial or legal records) may be retained only for the period and to the extent required by applicable law, after which they are deleted. Upon deletion, ride/trip history records are de-identified (permanently unlinked from name, email, phone number, and photo) and these de-identified records may be retained for analytics, service improvement, and research/product development.
