Terms of Use

Welcome to Shebak. By using this application, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before starting to use the service.

1. Service Definition
Shebak is solely an advertising platform and technological intermediary that allows licensed drivers or bus companies to post trip advertisements. Shebak does not provide direct transportation services, does not own or operate any vehicles, and does not guarantee the quality, safety, or reliability of any trip. All financial or scheduling agreements between the driver and passenger are made entirely outside Shebak’s responsibility, except for electronic bus payments processed through the authorized payment provider. In the case of cash payments, all financial arrangements are conducted directly between the passenger and the driver without Shebak’s involvement.

2. Eligibility for Use
You must be at least 18 years old to use this application.
Drivers must provide accurate and truthful information during registration, including a valid national ID, a valid driver’s license, and a valid vehicle registration. Shebak retains copies of these documents for verification purposes only and does not display them publicly.

3. Driver Verification and Classification
Once documents are verified, the driver will be categorized based on vehicle type and licensing. Verification does not imply that Shebak guarantees the safety or quality of services provided by the driver.
Drivers are responsible for updating their documents before expiration. Shebak reserves the right to suspend accounts, deny subscription renewals, or stop advertisement publishing in the event of expired or missing updated documents.

4. Fees and Commissions
No commission is charged to passengers. Monthly or yearly subscription fees are collected from drivers in exchange for the ability to post advertisements within the application.
Bus payment fees are processed directly through the authorized electronic payment provider and are not deposited into Shebak’s account.

5. Limitation of Liability
Shebak is not liable for any damages, losses, or injuries resulting from your use of the service or traveling with any driver. Any disputes between passengers and drivers must be resolved directly between the parties, without Shebak’s involvement.
Bus payments are conducted directly between the passenger and the bus company through the authorized payment provider; Shebak does not handle or store such funds.

Disclaimer: Shebak is not a licensed transportation provider. The platform operates solely as an advertising and technology intermediary and does not assume any legal responsibility for vehicle licensing, trip safety, or drivers’ obligations toward passengers.

6. Data Collection and Privacy
Shebak collects only essential data required to operate the service (name, phone number, approximate location) and does not sell user data to any third party.
Your information may be shared with the payment provider or the bus operating company only when necessary to complete a booking.
We retain user data as long as the account is active and delete it upon user request or account termination. Users have the right to access, modify, or request deletion of their data via account settings or by contacting us.

7. Account Suspension or Deletion
Shebak reserves the right to suspend or terminate the account of any user violating these terms.
Users may delete their accounts at any time through the application’s settings.

8. Service Interruptions and Maintenance
The service may occasionally experience temporary interruptions or maintenance periods. Shebak holds no responsibility for any data loss or inconvenience caused by such downtime.

9. Modification of Terms
Shebak may update these terms periodically. Changes become effective immediately upon being published in the application. Continuing to use the service after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
